How we calculate our fees in accordance with the value, complexity and importance of your case or matter. Where we cannot give a fixed fee we give an estimate based on our hourly fee engaged on your matter, our charging rates are applied in units of 6 minutes this is for routine letters and telephone calls however, longer letters and other time spent dealing with your matter will be charged on the basis of time actually spent rounded up to the nearest multiple of 6 minutes.

The hourly rates are :

  1. Solicitors with over eight years post qualification experience including at least eight years litigation experience – £250.00
  2. Solicitors an legal executives with over four years post qualification experience including at least four years litigation experience – £200
  3. Trainee solicitors, paralegals and other fee earners – £150

Defending the Divorce Petition

If your case is defended (contested) or the matter is not covered by our fixed fee services, you will have the option to instruct one of our lawyers under out hourly rates that range from £150 to £250 plus VAT depending on the legal qualifications, experience and expertise of the person dealing with your case.

During the initial consultation of any subsequent meetings, we can advise you about your options and also providing fixed fee quotes for specific items of work.

Residential conveyancing

Legal fees are typicall £850-£1,500 including VAT at 20%. They will also do local searches, which will cost you £250-£300, to check whether there are any local plans or problems.

Administration of an Estate

  1. A setup fee of £1,500 plus an fee charges at a rate of 2.5% on the gross value of the Estate up to a maximum total charge of £15,000.
  2. Solicitors charge an hourly rate while others charge a fee that is a percentage of the value of the estate.  This fee is usually calculated as between 1% to 5% of the value of the estate, plus VAT.
